Moreover, each sub-unit consists of 12 colored glass fibers, water absorbent yarn that is encased in a PVC jacket, 3mm in diameter; sub-units can be color-coded or sequentially numbered. All component materials meet the EU RoHS and REACH Directive standards.

Riser Dry Loose Tube Fiber Optic Cable is built to have either one to six sub-units, water blocking yarn, an aramid ripcord, and a Riser rated PVC outer jacket. There is the option to add a central strength member; water blocking tape is also made available for 72 strand fiber. Each sub-unit is comprised of 12 colored glass fibers, water absorbent yarn that is enclosed in a PVC jacket, 3mm in diameter; sub-units have the opportunity to be sequentially numbered or color-coded, pertaining to specific application requirements.
