32 Ounce Fiber Prep Cable Cleaner
The TC-35LF is a fiber optic cleaner that enables you to clean and fan your fiber in two wipes without alcohol, saving you both time and money. With this fiber optic cleaner, no follow-up with alcohol is required to get your optical fibers squeaky clean and separated when you are prepping for fiber optic splicing.
Our fiber optic cleaner is less harsh on your hands and reduces chemical odors and vapor concentrations to a minimum when you are working in splice trailers and vaults.
The unique formulation works to remove pik from the entire surface of loose-tube or ribbon fibers, leaving no residue. It also helps keep your splice equipment clean of contamination for better optical fiber alignment and splice quality. This fiber optic cleaner is safe on acrylate and Mylar.
Fiber Optic Cleaning
Improper cleaning is the top cause for network failures. The tolerance to dirt or contamination on the ends of the ferrules of a connector is near zero. Network operators claim that 15-50% of all network problems can be traced to dirty connectors causing connection problems.

Patch panels have mating adapters that can become contaminated if left open to the air or scrape off foreign particles under repeated usage. We recommend you always keep dust caps on connectors, bulkhead splices, patch panels or anything else that is going to have a connection made with it.
