Micro-Distribution Fiber
20 products
Micro-Distribution Fiber Optic Cable is a form of high density fiber cable often used in Local-Area Networks (LAN), where space and functionality are primary concerns. The fibers of Micro-Distribution Fiber Optic Cable are organized into sub-units, surrounded by an aramid yarn with a PVC outer jacket. The sub-units have the option of being sequentially numbered and color coded. All component materials meet the EU RoHS and REACH Directive standards. We offer both plenum OFNP and riser OFNR rated Micro-Distribution High Density Fiber Optic Cable.
Plenum OFNP Micro-Distribution Fiber Optic cable
When running fiber through air spaces, the fiber must adhere to the National Electric Code (NEC) as a means of minimizing the propagation of flames in case of an emergency. The Plenum OFNP Micro-Distribution Fiber Cable that we offer is Made in the USA, UL Listed, as well as meets and/or exceeds plenum requirements. Furthermore, our Plenum Micro-Distribution Fiber Cable is available in OM1 (Multimode 62.5/125), OM3 (Multimode 50/125), OM4 (Multimode 50/125), OS2 (Single Mode 9/125) fiber types. We also offer fiber strand counts from 12 strands up to 144 strands to suffice custom fiber networks.
Riser OFNR Micro-Distribution Fiber Optic cable
For vertical runs, i.e. floor to floor, high density applications, Fiber Savvy offers Riser OFNR Micro-Distribution Fiber Optic Cable in OM1 (Multimode 62.5/125), OM3 (Multimode 50/125), OM4 (Multimode 50/125), OS2 (Single Mode 9/125). We offer fiber strand counts starting with 12 strands up to 144 Strands. Our Riser High Density Fiber Optic Cables are also Made in the USA, UL Listed, and rated OFNR for riser applications in accordance with NEC – Article 770. This type of fiber has a small outside diameter to fit in tight spaces, and most of our fiber also utilizes Corning® glass-based optical fibers.
